Designed to intertwine on an abnormally shaped lot, these 5 residential vertical homes were designed to collectively share the same identity with playful nuances that differentiate and blur their boundaries.
Using the materials of brick, cement board and wood, they carefully layer in a geometric pattern that. Inset second floor balconies define living spaces while tall groupings of vertical windows articulate circulation. All units include rooftop amenities along with rooftop decks that provide private green space on a vertical stacked plane in lieu of the limited horizontal area found on the site. Parking is accessed through a shared alley entrance to private garages beneath the homes while front doors are accessed from the local street sidewalk. Storm water is carefully collected from the roofs and channeled into the storm water pond carefully integrated into the front landscape.
